How We Verify Businesses
SaudaNama uses a three-tier verification system grounded in government data sources. Every verification decision is based on independently verifiable evidence — not self-reported claims.
Verification Tiers & Scoring
The total Trust Score is out of 100 points across three tiers:
Tier 1 — Government Records
- GSTIN active status via official GST registry
- MCA Corporate Identity Number (CIN) via Ministry of Corporate Affairs
- Udyam MSME registration via Udyam portal
Tier 2 — Owner Identity KYC
- PAN verification matched to registered business name
- Authorized signatory identity document (Aadhaar/Passport)
- Digital signature or notarized authorization
Tier 3 — Physical Presence Audit
- Physical address verification matching GST/MCA registered address
- Geo-coordinate cross-check
- Storefront/factory video walkthrough evidence
Verification Process
Submit Application
Business owner completes the 7-step registration form, providing legal details, contact information, and GSTIN/CIN.
AI Pre-Check
Our AI system performs an initial risk assessment to flag obvious inconsistencies before human review.
Document Upload
Owner uploads supporting evidence: GST certificate, MCA extract, address proof, identity documents, and storefront photos/video.
Government API Cross-Check
We automatically query GST and MCA government APIs to cross-check the submitted details against live government records.
Human Reviewer
A trained reviewer inspects the evidence, makes a decision, and may request additional information if needed.
Trust Score Calculation
The server-authoritative Trust Score engine calculates a score based on verified evidence across all three tiers.
Digital Trust Passport
Upon approval, a Digital Trust Passport is issued — a unique, publicly verifiable identity credential for the business.
Grounds for Rejection or Suspension
GSTIN found inactive, cancelled, or suspended in government records.
MCA company status shows "Strike Off", "Under Liquidation", or "Inactive".
Submitted address does not match GST/MCA registered address.
Owner identity documents cannot be verified.
Storefront evidence is missing, staged, or not credible.
Business submits forged, altered, or misrepresented documents.
High-risk AI pre-check signals with unresolved inconsistencies.
Appeals Process
If your verification was rejected:
You may appeal within 30 days of the rejection decision by emailing appeals@saudanama.com with additional evidence. Appeals are reviewed by a senior reviewer within 5 business days.
Ongoing Compliance & Re-Verification
Verification is not permanent. SaudaNama periodically re-checks government records for active verified businesses. If a GSTIN or CIN becomes inactive, the Trust Passport may be downgraded or suspended automatically. Business owners are notified before any change to their verified status.
